Yes, and it is a normal week around here. What matters is knowing beforehand, because a small lift means the wardrobe goes up the stairs and that changes the crew size. Measure the lift door if you can — it takes a second and saves an hour.
Yes, and they go first. End of the month is the other pinch point. If your date is fixed, book as early as you can; if it can flex, a midweek slot is easier to get and easier to park.
Yes — plus Northumberland Heath, Barnehurst, Bexleyheath and the Thamesmead edge. It is all within a few minutes of the yard, which is why small jobs out this way are worth doing properly rather than squeezing in.
Same firm. The load leaves Erith, runs out on the A2 and the M25 to the Kent crossings, and goes on from there. Same people packing, and the customs paperwork is prepared from the same inventory.

No. It takes twenty minutes on a flat and a bit longer on a house, and it is the only way to get the volume right. Video works fine if you are already living somewhere else.
On most Erith streets, nothing — we find a spot. Where a bay needs suspending, the council usually wants the application from the resident, and we will tell you when that is the case so it is not discovered on the morning.
Clearing what you are not taking is a separate job and we price it separately rather than quietly folding it into the move. Packing materials we take away with us as a matter of course.
Yes, and rebuild them at the other end. Flat-pack that has already been moved twice sometimes does not survive a third time — we will say so before taking it apart rather than after.
Goods in transit cover is in place, and storage is covered too. There are the usual conditions about cartons you packed yourself and items of unusual value, so flag anything genuinely valuable and we will confirm in writing what applies.
It happens more often than anybody admits. If the keys do not come, the load stays on the vehicle or goes into store overnight rather than onto the pavement. We will tell you plainly what that means for the cost rather than sending a surprise invoice.
Yes — wrapped, listed and racked indoors. Most people use it for the gap between completions; some use it for longer while a place is being done up. Tell us at quote stage if there is any chance you will need it.
Regularly. A room and a few boxes is a man-and-van job and it is quick when the floor and the parking are known in advance. September and late June are the busy ends.
Yes. Send the collection address, the delivery address and a photo. If it will not go through the door at your end we would rather find that out from the photo than on the pavement.
Small commercial work, yes — the units on the industrial estates, offices in the town centre, shops along the parade. Out of hours usually makes most sense so trading stops for the least time.
As soon as you have a date, even a provisional one. Holding a slot costs nothing and moving it is easy. Finding a crew three days out in August is not.
Different rather than harder. The newer riverside blocks have proper loading bays and goods lifts, which is better than most of the town. The older estates behind them are where the long carries are.
Your things share a vehicle with other consignments going the same way, so you pay for the space you take rather than a whole lorry. It suits smaller loads and flexible dates. A dedicated vehicle is the answer when the date is fixed.

Not for being a flat. You may pay more for stairs, a long carry or a difficult parking situation, because those cost time and hands. A ground-floor flat with a bay outside is one of the cheapest moves there is.
