About

A local firm, not a national one

We work Erith and the places around it. That is a deliberately small patch, and it is why a one-room job at Slade Green gets the same thought as a four-bed at Barnehurst — there is no dead leg eating the morning.

What we do

Household removals, mostly. Whole houses across DA8 and out of it, flat and apartment moves — which are a bigger share here than in most places — man-and-van work at the smaller end, packing in whatever amount you want, storage between completions, and moves that carry on into France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

We also take small commercial work: units on the industrial estates, offices in the town centre, shops along the parades. Out of hours usually makes most sense so trading stops for the least time.

Why a small patch

Because the local knowledge is the service. Knowing which side of Bexley Road you can stand a Luton on, which blocks have a lift wide enough for a wardrobe and which do not, where the Slade Green addresses actually are when the satnav gives up — that is not something a firm covering the whole of the south-east carries in its head.

It also means small jobs are worth doing properly. A firm driving in from thirty miles away has to charge for the driving. We do not.

How we work

We look first

On anything above a single room, somebody looks at the place — at the door or on a video call — before a number is written down. It costs nothing and it is the only way to get volume and access right.

Quotes in writing

Measured volume, crew, vehicle, what packing is included, what cover applies. If you are comparing us with someone else, those are the things to compare — not the headline number.

One office

The person who takes your details is the person who knows the job when you ring three weeks later. Nobody is being handed round a queue.

Protection as standard

Blankets, covers, door-frame and floor protection, and protection for communal hallways and lift interiors — those belong to other residents, not to you, and damaging them is your problem afterwards, not ours. So we cover them.

What we do not do

We do not quote before we understand the job. We do not promise a transit time we cannot stand behind. We do not take on a property without establishing we can physically reach it. And we do not claim awards, accreditations, press coverage or customer numbers we have not got — if it is not on this site, it is because it is not true yet.

Cover

Goods in transit and storage cover are in place, with the usual conditions around owner-packed cartons and items of unusual value. If something is genuinely valuable, tell us at survey and we will confirm in writing what applies before you commit. The contractual position is on the terms page.

Getting hold of us

The quote form is quickest — it reaches the people who plan the work. Contact has the rest, questions covers most of what comes up first, and areas we cover shows where we work.

Next step

Tell us about your move

Send the two addresses, the floor at each end, and roughly what is going. We will come back with a written quote.
